These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and any services we provide, including but not limited to FFL firearm transfers, gunsmithing, repairs, consultations, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using our website or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our website or Services.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website or Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review them periodically.
1. Eligibility and Compliance with Firearm Laws
You must be at least 18 years of age (or 21 for handguns where applicable) and legally eligible to possess firearms under all applicable federal, state, and local laws. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are not a prohibited person under the Gun Control Act or any other law.
- All information you provide is accurate and complete.
- You will comply strictly with all ATF regulations, background check requirements, and state/local firearm laws.
We operate as a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). All firearm transfers and gunsmithing services are conducted in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. We do not provide legal advice regarding firearm ownership, transfers, or legality. You are solely responsible for ensuring your compliance with all laws.
2. Services and No Online Storefront
Our website provides information about our FFL transfer and gunsmithing services but does not constitute an online storefront for direct sales of firearms or ammunition. Firearm-related services require in-person or properly coordinated FFL-to-FFL processes and are subject to all applicable legal requirements.
We reserve the right to refuse Service to anyone for any reason at any time.
3. Firearm Transfer and Storage Disclaimer
Disclaimer:
In the event of a denial of a firearm transfer, 13 Dog LLC will hold the firearm(s) for up to 60 days to allow for completion of an appeal. If an appeal cannot be completed or is subsequently denied, 13 Dog will return the firearm(s) to the sender for a $100 fee plus applicable shipping costs. If the customer does not pay the $100 return fee and applicable shipping costs, a storage fee of $25 per week will accrue starting the first week after the initial 60-day period. 13 Dog LLC will continue to hold the firearm(s) and accrue storage fees of $25 per week per firearm until all outstanding fees are paid or the firearm(s) are forfeited.
Additionally, if a firearm transfer is approved but the customer is not permitted to receive the firearm(s) for any reason and fails to pick them up within 60 days from the date of approval, a storage fee of $25 per week will accrue thereafter. 13 Dog LLC will hold the firearm and continue to accrue the $25 weekly fee until all fees are paid or the firearm is forfeited. Any firearm(s) unclaimed after one year from the delivery date will be considered abandoned and become the property of 13 Dog LLC.
All storage fees must be paid in full before release of any firearm. We assume no liability for loss, damage, or deterioration of firearms held in storage beyond what is required by law.
4. Gunsmithing Services
Gunsmithing and repair services are provided “as is” with no express or implied warranties beyond any limited workmanship warranty we may separately provide in writing. We reserve the right to refuse any gunsmithing job for any reason. Customers are responsible for ensuring that any firearm submitted for service is legally owned and compliant with all laws. We are not responsible for any damage resulting from improper use, unsafe handling, or non-standard ammunition.
5. Pricing and Payments
Prices for our Services, including transfer fees and gunsmithing labor, are subject to change at any time without notice. All fees are due as specified at the time of service. Payment is required before release of any firearm or completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may require deposits for certain services.
6. Shipping and Handling of Firearms
Firearms must be shipped to us only from another licensed FFL dealer in accordance with all applicable laws. We do not accept firearms shipped directly from individuals. You are responsible for proper packaging and compliance with all shipping regulations. We assume no liability for damage or loss during shipping to or from our facility unless caused by our gross negligence.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 13 Dog LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or Services, including but not limited to loss of firearms, personal injury, property damage, or legal consequences resulting from firearm ownership or use. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific Service in question.
We provide Services “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Firearms and parts are inherently dangerous; you assume all risks associated with their handling, storage, and use.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 13 Dog LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, violation of any law, or misuse of our Services.
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our website or Services for any unlawful purpose, to violate any firearm laws, or to transmit harmful code. We reserve the right to terminate access immediately for any violation.
10. Privacy

11. Changes to Services
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time without notice or liability.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Titusville, FL. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and 13 Dog LLC regarding your use of the website and Services and supersede any prior agreements.
